From Jacksboro go west 1-2 miles on hwy 380 to hwy 4 then south 14 miles to Halsell Road then west (right) on a windy, hilly gravel road for 4 miles to Lake Godstone™ on your right.
You’ll know you are here when you see the 8 foot cedar fence on your right and the overhead power lines. Address is 4636 Halsell Ranch Road, Jacksboro 76458. Call 940-275-0908.

Lovely Weekend
It was a lovely weekend. We have told several of our friends about it and we certainly intend to come back for more weekends… My husband loved riding his bike… The walking trails were very nice. the lake was loads of fun… what a lovely time we had….thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful place.

Very Cozy Quiet Cabin
Very cozy quiet cabin with a dock a few steps out the back door. Fishing was decent. Great place to get away and relax or, like us, stay at for a baseball tournament down the road. We really liked it. We’ve stayed at multiple locations around PK. This one ranks pretty high. June 2025

Jim, my wife and I stayed Easter week in the Captain’s Cabin and had a great time! The weather was perfect and we especially enjoyed fishing from several docks around Lake Godstone. Also, we had fun driving around the many trails and observing lots of wildlife. Many hours were spent on the cabin’s porch relaxing, talking, and snoozing in the quiet peaceful setting. Of course the cabin itself was very comfortable and met our every need. We look forward to many more visits to Lake Goldstone.

Enjoyed our Stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at Lake Godstone. The Captain’s Cabin was roomy with a luxury king-size mattress/bed. Some of the additional amenities were full size refrigerator, large bathroom, and plenty of closet/storage space. The cabin was also fully internet accessible with a computer, printer, and large screen tv. We absolutely loved the spacious front porch that opened to the lake and the large fire pit. We fished, saw lots of deer, and marveled at the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

With all the amenities and a guest computer with high speed wifi this cabin is my place to go and watch all the fishing, swimming, watercraft and lodge activities from a wonderful covered porch.
