Mark your calendars for an awesome Family Adventure weekend at the Christian Outdoor Ministry “Cast and Blast” at Lake Godstone May 17-19, 2024. We have lodge, guest home, cabin and camping facilities available to families to enjoy fishing, swimming and canoes, kayaks, pedal and row boats from eight (8) docks (no lifeguards), mountain biking on our four-mile forested trail, sports on our baseball/soccer field with sand volleyball and lit basketball court and scheduled firearm (Pistol and Rifle), Skeet, and Archery training and practice on our 300 yard rifle/archery/pistol range. And lots more to explore on our 188 acre ranch… we have 23 on-site Facilities for families ranging in size to accommodate all types of family groups. We have single beds in the lodge, five-person rooms in the lodge, cabins for two people, cabins for families of 4-5 people, a dorm in the lodge for families up to 10 people, and a cabin for a family of 11 people. The Roost (sleeps 4-6) has a full bunk and twin bunk and is a secluded and elevated cabin with wi-fi, Roku TV, fire pit, wildlife feeders, watering hole, picnic table, covered porch with BBQ and smoker, bathroom with lower shower, full size fridge, small fridge, AC, Heat, hot plate, camp stove, microwave, and solar lighting. Located 1/2 mile away from the Main Lodge in the grassy meadows of the ranch retreat, the “roost” is one of the most comfortable deer and wildlife viewing apartments anywhere. The firepit overlooking the wildlife feeders is a great place to enjoy evening sunsets in any weather and the elevated porch comes complete with a bbq and smoker. Wi-fi, streaming TV, and night time lighting will help to make your stay most enjoyable.
Located across Lake Godstone from the Lodge the Guest Home (sleeps 8-11) has three bedrooms with a King, two full size, one twin and two twin bunks, full bath, den and bedrooms and porch with RokuTV, full kitchen, a private patio with fire pit, a picnic area with a large picnic table and another large fire pit, propane BQ and smoker, kids fenced playground with slide and swing-set, a carport with RV service and a private boat dock with partial cover, swim ladder and mooring. A horse stall with small fenced pasture is free for guest use.
The Refuge campground at Lake Godstone is a Group Campground for use by families or camp groups and can fit up to 10 tents/small RV’s. There are two utility stations each with power (20 and 30 amp) and water, a tree house shelter with seating for four and a coffee table, large fire pit, two picnic tables, and a porta-potty. There is an area comfort station with toilets/ showers within walking distance. It is located on the east forested meadow above the Crappie Pond and Lake Godstone.
The Lodge (sleeps 35-41) has four bedrooms (each with a queen, twin and two upper twin bunks) two upper floor dormitories (family dorm with a queen, four twins and four upper twin bunks and a second dorm for singles with a queen, five twins and four upper twin bunks), three bathrooms inside, a bath with showers outside above the water slide, a classroom with tables and chairs, couches and large screen TV, upper deck, large patio with restaurant booths overlooking Lake Godstone (fish off the porch) couches and chairs, large fire pit with rock seating, private boat dock with two kayaks and a canoe, large fully-equipped kitchen with three sinks, two stoves with ovens, two large fridges (and a third on the porch), two washers, two dryers, a dishwasher, a den with two couches and large screen TV, two large dining tables, a commercial ice maker, largely parking lot for 25-30 cars, a minnow tank, a fish tank, an aquaponic greenhouse, hot food table, solar panel system with backup battery in case of power outage, propane grill, propane, bbq, charcoal bbq, fenced sand playground, and waterslide.
Our 10' x 20' Reflection Primitive Cabin (sleeps 2 in queen bed) has a porch, water and power, wifi, screened windows, exterior door, a picnic table, large fire pit and charcoal grill. It comes with a queen size bed, a small table with two chairs, toilet, microwave, Air Conditioning, coffee maker, hot plate, utensils, television with Roku, and is a quiet, weather protected building. A small electric heater is also provided. The campsite is drive-through with parking for one vehicle. This treed site overlooks the dam and Lake Godstone.
The Sports Field House (sleeps 4-6) has a queen bunk, queen sofa bed and rolling twin bed with a full bathroom, bathtub, kitchen, microwave, coffee machine, full fridge with water and ice, a den and a bedroom. Includes porch with couch seating and bluetooth. The lit basketball court, sand volleyball court and soccer and baseball practice field with goal and backstop, observatory with telescope and picnic area and horseshoe pits are adjacent to the field house. Sunsets are awesome from the covered front porch.
Serenity is an RV unit (sleeps 2 in full bed) installed permanently and connected to water, sewer and power. It has a full size bed and a small single couch and has a kitchen, cookware and restroom. Outside in the woods there is a shelter with charcoal grill, a large fire pit, a pad for a tent, a large picnic table and brook running through the campsite. Wifi and blue tooth sound system is included. Located near the Lake
Top of the Dam Group Campground
The Top-of-the-Dam campground overlooks Lake Godstone and is for use by families or camp groups. It fits up to 10 tents/small RV’s. There are two utility stations each with power (20 and 30 amp) and water, a 12' x 12' shelter, two fire pits, two large picnic tables, and a porta-potty. There is an area comfort station with toilets and showers nearby. An 8-person empty military tent is provided and setup for use.
Located on the highest part of the Ranch, Panorama is about as secluded as you can get. The four-mile hike and bike trail (non-motorized) runs beside the campsite and Lake Godstone (with good fishing) and the sports complex is just a short walk away. A picnic table, power (20 and 30 and 50 amp). Charcoal grill and a large fire-pit are provided on this expansive campsite that will accommodate two RV’s or motor homes
Located on the wooded upper trail of the 188 acre ranch there are five (5) large, drive-through secluded Popup/Tent sites and a small tentsite called Overlook. Each has 20/30 amp power, water, fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. You can choose to park under a large oak tree on the level upper field or on the private gravel driveway. The nearby comfort station has two showers and two toilets.
The Inspiration Cabin (sleeps 3-4) has a king bed and two lofts each a twin bed. A full kitchen, full bath and tub, dining table and blue tooth sound system is provided. It has a porch with an awesome view, BBQ grill, streaming wide screen TV, smoker and fire pit. The sunrise view over the valley below is spectacular.
Primitive Camping
With four miles of mountain bike trails (non-motorized) connecting our forested Lake Godstone and upper wooded meadow, there are numerous opportunities to camp out under the stars. Pick up your backpack and walk to your favorite spot where there is a fire-pit provided or drive on our miles of all-weather road to the spot of your choice. No services are provided but the comfort station with showers and toilets plus several porta-potties are available.
Primitive Cabins
Located below our Crappie Pond and near the comfort station are three primitive cabins with two futons and a small table with chairs. There are no utilities provided but outside each of them are a picnic table, charcoal grill and a firepit.
