The Ross Wildfire of August 2026 burned over 90,000 acres of Jack and Palo Pinto County in North Texas including Lake Godstone. We were very fortunate that due to the grace of God our facilities were unharmed except for damage to two remote buildings on the east side or our campus where the fire entered our property. Our crosses still stand, our power has been restored and we are open for business. Amazingly, sitting on the porch of our lodge overlooking Lake Godstone, everything looks green, trees are all intact and the fishing is great.
