Brookside Primitive Cabin at Lake Godstone

Explore four miles of mountain bike trails around Lake Godstone and enjoy excellent fishing in the lake and three ponds. Camp under the stars in one of our primitive cabins (no services), with table, chairs, and two futon-couch twin size mattresses. Each site includes a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. A comfort station with showers and toilets is a short walk and a porta-potty is nearby. Firewood is available at our store and Fishing is $10.00 per person. Free wifi campus wide.

From Graford go 7 miles north on Highway 4 then west (left) on Halsell Ranch Road, a windy, hilly gravel road for 4 miles to Lake Godstone™ on your right.
From Jacksborogo west 1-2 miles on hwy 380 to hwy 4 then south 14 miles to Halsell Road then west (right) on a windy, hilly gravel road for 4 miles to Lake Godstone™ on your right.
You’ll know you are here when you see the 8 foot cedar fence on your right and the overhead power lines. Address is 4636 Halsell Ranch Road, Jacksboro 76458. Call 940-275-0908.
